oh city, city..

vistas, horizons and hair

  There could be a giant lizard whose tail stripes the land  as she crawls the peaks and troughs of mountains The land becomes a tiger The tiger is passionate about her rises and falls I wish I could  protect her folds and imperfections So good to be so far away and reminded that some choices are beyond me. *     *     * I dyed my  hair in France, thinking (ha!) Grasse-en-Provence, July-August 2022 ( Old lock, teaching me the patience of keys..)   J'arrive       To be touched by the textures of stone,  the measure and gradient of a hill,  the angles of the sun, is to be  human, very human...         There are festive Lights, fireworks, street Decorations.
