and the doubt of Thomas in Jesus' own eyes, here in a small church on the south Italian
Coastline...
And so we are implicated by looking...
The work of Anish Kapoor so often deals with the infinity of holes, the voluption of volcanoes Insides spilling out, versus outsides falling in.. Especially where I don't want to look.. And these moments, where we cannot escape being implicated in what is before us... Oh how one building can hold multitudes, including the clarity of death And I emerge from these trompes d'oielle into the trusting humanism of earlier centuries..
